Luce Ladies’ Luncheon

Who: This event is available to young women attending YAF’s National Conservative Student Conference (NCSC) this year. 

What: Every year, the Luce Center hosts the Luce Ladies’ Luncheon at NCSC. Erin Hawley, a distinguished conservative role model and senior counsel and vice president of the Center for Life and Regulatory Practice at Alliance Defending Freedom, will be joining the Luncheon as the keynote speaker. 

Speaker: Erin Hawley serves as senior counsel and vice president of the Center for Life and Regulatory Practice at Alliance Defending Freedom. She practiced appellate law at Kirkland and Ellis LLP, Bancroft LLP, and King & Spalding LLP, appearing before the U.S. Supreme Court, numerous federal courts of appeals, and state courts of last resort. Notably, she acted as co-counsel to Mississippi in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization.

Hawley also served as a law clerk to U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John G. Roberts and worked at the U.S. Department of Justice as counsel to Attorney General Michael Mukasey. Additionally, she held the position of associate professor of law at the University of Missouri and authored a book about motherhood Living Beloved: Lessons From My Little Ones About the Heart of God.
