Meet CBLPI Fellow Hayley Grande

Meet CBLPI Fellow Hayley Grande

Hayley is a rising sophomore at Georgetown University studying Government and Economics. She grew up in Orange, Connecticut and misses being in New England during the fall.

Hayley loves having homemade Italian food and spending time with her family – especially her five younger cousins and sister!

Hayley enjoys being a member of the College Republicans and always makes sure to get a picture with the life-sized cut out of her favorite president, Ronald Reagan.

One of her favorite things to do is welcome newly admitted students to Georgetown and take pictures with her school’s mascot, Jack the Bulldog.

Hayley is a conservative because she believes in America’s founding principles of individual liberty, limited government, and popular sovereignty.

Her favorite quote is: “The harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph.” It was written by Thomas Paine, the author of “Common Sense.”

Hayley once went to the White House to sing the song “Africa” by Toto with a group of random strangers for fun.

Hayley introduced Katie Pavlich, the editor for and award winning author of “Assault & Flattery: The Truth About the Left and Their War on Women” and “Fast and Furious: Barack Obama’s Bloodiest Scandal and Its Shameless Cover-Up,” at the DC Women’s Summit.

Hayley found out about the CBLPI Summer Fellowship when she applied for the Florida Women’s Summit.
