Taylor Roth is a student at the University of Florida majoring in Public Relations with a concentration in International Policy and Communications.

She is from Tampa, Florida, and she attended school at J.W. Mitchell High School.

According to Taylor, she is conservative because she believes in the immense potential within each individual. Taylor believes that America is the greatest country in the history of mankind, because it was founded based on the idea that each and every human is born with dignity and inherent rights that are to be respected and defended.

Taylor’s favorite conservative woman is Dana Perino. As a communications student, Taylor appreciates how Dana Perino is open about her political views, but does not allow her personal opinions to get in the way of providing the truth and ensuring fair treatment to those with differing ideas.

Taylor’s favorite quote comes from Thomas Jefferson: “When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.”

An interesting fact about Taylor is that she has only attended one baseball game in her life. The Congressional Baseball Game for charity with two other CBLPI fellows! Apparently it’s innings, not quarters.

Taylor’s favorite part of her fellowship thus far has been traveling around D.C. to promote CBLPI events with other fellows. Her favorite site is the Supreme Court!

Taylor is thankful that CBLPI has provided her with the opportunity to hear from leading conservative women. She also is grateful to have been able to connect with strong and empowered women from across the country.

On campus at the University of Florida, Taylor is the President of Christians United For Israel. One of her greatest memories has been hosting Irving Roth, a Holocaust survivor, at an event where over 700 people came out to hear him share his story of strength and compassion.

At CBLPI’s Washington, D.C. Summit, Taylor enjoyed hearing Rachel Campos-Duffy, CBLPI’s Woman of the Year, share her story on the importance of always putting family and loved ones first.
