Abby Slagle is a junior at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She studies Political Science and Business Legal Studies. She grew up in The Woodlands, Texas, and graduated from Montgomery High School.
Abby is a conservative because she believes in personal responsibility, hard work, and protecting constitutional liberties.
Abby's favorite conservative lady is Carly Fiorina, for her strength during her private sector experience and breaking the "glass ceiling" for professional women everywhere. She believes her grace and conservative feminism during her presidential bid makes her a fantastic role model for women everywhere.
Abby's favorite quote is by Zelda Fitzgerald, and her favorite book is The Great Gatsby. Abby believes that in order to have a happy, enjoyable, and productive lifestyle, you must always be trying new, interesting things, going new places, meeting new people, and never being bored.
At college, Abby is a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and enjoys participating in her chapter's activities and drinking coffee. This winter, Abby plans to study abroad in London, England.
Abby first discovered an interest in politics when she traveled abroad for figure skating competitions. She was a competitive figure skater for ten years and has two Team USA jackets.
Her favorite TV show is House of Cards because she thinks it's a thrilling political drama with a good plot, and because Claire's wardrobe is on point.
