Debunking The 1619 Project: Exposing the Plan to Divide America

October 1, 2021

Our nation has been facing a time of cultural upheaval and struggle. Our society is currently deciding the future of America. What kind of country will we be in 100 years? 10 years? 5 years? Just because you haven’t received an invitation to a debate on this exact topic does not mean it isn’t actively occurring in your town and your state. The problem is multi-layered and complex, but a large portion of this debate is focused on American history and our very identity as Americans. The Leftist notion of America follows The 1619 Project and Critical Race Theory. It is being implemented in companies, universities, local schools, societal organizations, local libraries, and the list goes on and on. Conservatives argue that being proud of our identity as Americans is good. We believe in the founding principles of our nation. We do not wish to toss aside the essence of America. However, the Left seeks to do just that with its acceptance and implementation of The 1619 Project. If you wish to have an America that still values freedom, we encourage you to read our book club selection this month – Debunking The 1619 Project: Exposing the Plan to Divide America by Mary Grabar.

Mary Grabar is a resident fellow at The Alexander Hamilton Institute for the Study of Western Civilization and the author of Debunking Howard Zinn: Exposing the Fake History That Turned a Generation against America. She taught at the college level for twenty years, most recently at Emory University; writes for various publications, including The Federalist, Townhall, RealClearPolitics, and the Epoch Times. She blogs at Dissident Prof, a nonprofit she founded.

About the book…

Mary Grabar dissects The 1619 Project by exposing the false narratives and ideology. It is not based in facts and as such it will be very destructive to our future as a nation if we do not learn the truth. You will learn about the founder of this project, Nikole Hannah-Jones, and her racially charged ideas. Grabar shows how the riots we have seen across our nation are supported by this false ideology that brings hatred and violence. She discusses the truth about our founding fathers like President Thomas Jefferson and even later figures such as President Abraham Lincoln. She opens up the painful topic of slavery and shows how The 1619 Project portrays a false narrative about American slavery. So much is being said about American history and who we are as a people in a negative light; however, if they are not speaking from a point of truth and using real facts, we can’t move forward. This book is packed with information that will be necessary to know if you value America.

In this book, you will find:

  1. How The 1619 Project was launched
  2. How these ideas are being implemented across the nation
  3. The truth of the Declaration of Independence
  4. Real facts about American slavery and founding fathers

The emergence of The 1619 Project was the lynchpin for radical groups that make the case for the destruction of American history which we have been seeing across the country. Statues of our founding fathers are being removed and educational materials are being rewritten. History and the essence of America are being attacked. Ideas like this must be confronted or they will permeate our society and destroy us from within. While this may sound grandiose and dramatic, we are doing nothing but arguing for the very values that our nation was founded upon. Leftists are making even bolder claims, so we must counter with truth and resiliency. Our motto is e pluribus unum, which means ‘out of many, one’. We cannot maintain American unity if we are promoting false narratives that destroy instead of unite. We cannot encourage you enough to get a copy of Mary Grabar’s book. If each of us do not learn and take a stand in our own circles for the truth, who will? As President Ronald Reagan said, “Freedom and the dignity of the individual have been more available and assured here than in any other place on Earth. The price for this freedom at times has been high, but we have never been unwilling to pay that price.” Will you pay the price today by reading this book?
