Emily Langan is the newest addition to the Center for Conservative Women team, joining this June as our organization’s Program Officer. Emily has spent the past five years working with students on college campuses and has witnessed first-hand the struggles and biases present to them, especially conservative women.
Upon graduating, Emily began her work with FOCUS, Fellowship of Catholic University Students, spending a year each at James Madison University, University of Vermont, and George Mason University. During her time in FOCUS, Emily worked to help students live out their religious faith and values in the face of challenges present on campus and in the world, and encouraged them to advocate for their beliefs. After leaving FOCUS, she moved on to Marymount University, where she worked as the Assistant Director, then Director of Campus Ministry for two years. During her time on campus, Emily gained a great knowledge of the inner-workings of a university, as well as a great deal of experience in mentoring young leaders and motivating them to activism.
Emily graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Philosophy from Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland. She is excited to help students host conservative women on college campuses across the United States and encourage young ladies to become confident advocates for freedom.
