University of Virginia student Victoria Spiotto, a 2020 Summer Fellow at the CBL Center for Conservative Women, gave a student’s perspective at the first White House Conference on American History, which was held on September 17, 2020, at the National Archives in Washington DC.
The only student leader invited to present, Victoria joined a panel of distinguished scholars and guests, including Hillsdale College president Dr. Larry P. Arnn, National Association of Scholars president Peter Wyatt Wood, author Mary Grabar, and Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Dr. Ben Carson Sr. The panel opened with remarks by President Trump and Vice President Pence.
Victoria is in her final year completing a dual program: undergraduate studies in French and Politics, and a master’s program in Elementary Education Teaching. On campus, Victoria is a member of her Young Americans for Freedom chapter. She has studied abroad in Costa Rica, France, and Amman, Jordan. She has also served as an International Monetary Fund Intern and an Intern for Congressman Denver Riggleman.
