Heather MacDonald, contributing editor of City Journal, the Thomas W. Smith Fellow at the Manhattan Institute, and author of several books including The War on Cops (2016), will discuss her upcoming book, The Diversity Delusion.

America is in crisis, she argues, from the university to the workplace.  The root of the problem is the belief in America’s endemic racism and sexism, a belief that has engendered a metastasizing diversity bureaucracy in society and academia.  This is creating a nation of narrowed minds, primed for grievance, and it is putting our competitive edge at risk.

The Conservative Women’s Network is made up of over 1,000 women in the Washington DC area who are policy analysts, non-profit organization leaders, students, stay-at-home mothers, and more. Women gather to become informed on issues of the day, network with area professionals, and hear from conservative leaders at these monthly luncheons co-hosted with the Heritage Foundation.
