Catherine Engelbrecht is the founder and president of True the Vote, a bipartisan nonprofit organization aimed at ensuring voters' rights and election integrity.
Catherine founded the organization in 2009 after volunteering at the polls and witnessing firsthand both the need for well-trained election workers and blatant, undeniable acts of election fraud.
She gained national attention after enduring unjust IRS targeting and harassing investigations by myriad federal agencies.
"My experiences at the hands of this government in these last five years," said Catherine, "have made me more determined than ever to stand before you and America and say: I will not retreat. I will not surrender. I refuse to be intimidated. I will not ask for permission to exercise my Constitutional rights."
Today her organization provides the tools, training, and support that citizen volunteers in every state need to protect election integrity.
Catherine's leadership has been recognized nationally. She was the recipient of CPAC's 2011 Ronald Reagan Award, named among Politico's 2012 "50 to Watch," and the 2014 recipient of CBLPI's Woman of Exceptional Courage.
