May’s Conservative Woman: Bay Buchanan

May's CBLPI Conservative Woman Bay Buchanan

At age 32, Bay Buchanan was the youngest person ever appointed to the position of United States Treasurer.

She got her start as treasurer for both of Ronald Reagan's campaigns before working for his administration in the 1980s, and in 2012 she served as a Senior Advisor to Mitt Romney.

Bay is the author of two books, The Extreme Makeover of Hillary (Rodham) Clinton and Bay and Her Boys: the Unexpected Lessons I learned as a Single Mom.

She is a staunch pro-life advocate, a wife, and mother of three grown sons.

Bay is a long-standing friend of CBLPI, and the recipient of two CBLPI awards: the 2002 Conservative Leadership award, and the 2007 Woman of the Year award.

One of our most popular speakers among college students and women, Bay has spoken at numerous CBLPI events – luncheons, conferences, and seminars – and been a guest lecturer at many CBLPI-sponsored college campus events.
