The 2016 presidential election was a roller coaster ride from beginning to end. It was more than a change election. It was a crossroads election. The nation would either continue down the road of socialist, progressive national destruction, or turn right toward the traditional conservative principles and policies that had always made America free and prosperous. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization forbidden by IRS to promote candidates and be involved in elections, CBLPI continued our education focus on policy and issues. Many of the conservative students and women with whom we work, however, fully engaged in the critical debate; and none more than our own Board member, Kellyanne Conway, who became the first woman to successfully manage a presidential campaign.
Kellyanne's resumé is impressive. A lawyer, founder and CEO of thepollingco,inc®, and co-author of the book, What Women Really Want, Kellyanne has directed hundreds of demographic and attitudinal survey projects for a wide range of clients, including trade associations, Fortune 100 companies and political races. Her work has given her unique insight into the minds, struggles, hopes and dreams of everyday Americans from all walks of life.
Yet Kellyanne is far more than her professional resum√©. She's a wife, a mother, and a happy conservative warrior with a quick wit and a proactive ‘can-do’ spirit. She is as entertaining as she is insightful, and a perennial favorite speaker at our seminars and events.
Kellyanne understood better than most the policy issues informing the national discontent this year. Donald Trump recognized her as the perfect choice to manage his campaign.
With her typical grace and positive attitude, Kellyanne rose to the challenge beautifully. We are so very proud of this conservative woman!
