Webinar Nov 10: History & Value of Thanksgiving

November 10, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

REGISTER TODAY

Each thanksgiving, Americans of all backgrounds gather to ‘give thanks’ and celebrate freedom, faith, and family. In recent years, our valued history and holidays have been under attack from the radical Left. We know that the only way to combat this assault is through education. In her book, Thanksgiving, Melanie Kirkpatrick weaves a story of gratitude in America through four centuries of these celebrations. There are many stories about this favored holiday that have been forgotten over time.

Melanie Kirkpatrick is a writer-journalist based in Connecticut and a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute. In addition to authoring several books, she is an award-winning journalist and expert on foreign policy and human rights, focusing on East Asia and the Pacific. She was previously the deputy editor of The Wall Street Journal from 2006-2009. Melanie is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a director of the America for Bulgaria Foundation, and a member of the Human Freedom Advisory Council of the George W. Bush Presidential Center. Ms. Kirkpatrick is married to Jack David, a senior fellow and trustee of the Hudson Institute.

We know that for many Americans, this is their favorite celebration of the year. It speaks to our beautiful history, our generosity, and how we celebrate the things that make America great. Join us for a webinar to learn the history and value of the unique American holiday, Thanksgiving Day.

Join us on November 10 at 12 pm ET.
