Paula Scanlan will speak to a group of students at the University of California, Berkeley.

Paula Scanlan is the legislative liaison for Independent Women’s Forum and a former NCAA Swimmer. She is the former teammate of Lia Thomas at the University of Pennsylvania. While a student athlete, she was forced to undress in front of Thomas 18 times a week and silenced by UPenn administrators and coaching staff when she tried to voice her concerns. At IWF, she works to save women’s sports, pass legislation to protect women’s spaces, and facilitate lawsuits to get justice for women and girls.
