Webinar: Gun Rights are Women’s Rights

April 23, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

As leadership in Washington, D.C. has shifted, we have seen a direct attack on the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. This is a key part of our foundation as a country and must be valued and protected. We are facing unprecedented legislation that would remove our inherent rights. It is crucial that all Americans stay educated on the value and need for the Second Amendment. This is especially important for women, and Antonia Okafor Cover will address this in our upcoming webinar.

Antonia Okafor Cover is the Director of Outreach and National Spokesperson for Gun Owners of America. Her written work has been published by the New York Times, NBC Universal, Fox News, Austin-American Statesman and The Hill. Antonia appears regularly as a contributor on CNN, Fox News, BBC, Al Jazeera America, One America Network, TRT World and Sinclair Broadcast Group/WJLA. Her political savvy coupled with a successful record of persuading audiences in hot button topics (gun rights/gun violence, feminism, MeToo movement, immigration, War on Drugs, race relations) has made her a known public relations powerhouse.

Antonia graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Political Economy in the Fall of 2013. Antonia first noticed her passion for service through Girl Scouts of America where she earned both her Silver and Gold Award. During her college years at UT Dallas, she participated in numerous non-profit organizations.
