Successful Luce Lady Leaders
[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Leaders come in all ages and spheres of life, and their leadership, to paraphrase Carly Fiorina, is visible “in small acts as well as bold strokes.”
This page is dedicated to our Luce Lady Leaders, in college and beyond, who have embraced the advice of Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher: “Don’t follow the crowd; let the crowd follow you.”[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

THEN. Elizabeth relished the opportunity to attend USF and put her debate skills to good use. She admits she got all she bargained for from the staggering liberal bias on campus. At the time, she told us,
People here are so startled to hear a conservative voice, it’s as if they forget we exist! I guess San Francisco will do that to you. The upside of my situation is that the conservative movement has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
Back at her campus following her internship, Elizabeth emailed a note to us: “I came back brave.” It became the headline of an ad we placed in National Review magazine (see image left).
NOW. In the years since, Elizabeth has put her BA in politics and philosophy to good use. She was Campaign Manager for a California State Senate candidate, and Finance Director for the Republican Party of San Diego County.
For the past several years, she’s worked for San Diego City Councilman Mark Kersey, first as Policy Advisor and Press Secretary, and now as his Chief of Staff, where she manages seven full-time employees and a few interns of her own. She’s also an elected committee member of the San Diego County GOP and a delegate to the California Republican Party.
Married now and juggling family and career, Elizabeth is doing what she loves: being a voice for conservative thought and policies in liberal California.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row]
