Andrea Vacchiano’s day is busy. As an associate producer of the Fox &Friends morning television show, Andrea is tasked with producing two “absolutely accurate” TV segments each day. To accomplish this, she develops and pitches story ideas, prepares in-depth research packets for anchors and pre-interviews guests. She also writes introductions and creates banners and other graphics for each segment.
This 2019 Rutgers University grad – with a B.A. in History and Political Science – is more than up to the challenge. History and politics have long been her passions. Andrea spent three of her four high school years as a Research Intern for the Madison (NJ) Historical Society. During her tenure, she transcribed old Civil War letters and documents and created an educational PowerPoint presentation about the town’s history for local second-graders.
Always eager to learn, Andrea attended the Center for Conservative Women’s Midwest Women’s Summit in 2015 while still in high school. In 2016, she served as a summer Fellow at the Center for Conservative Women, where she researched, wrote, and promoted the Center’s events on Capitol Hill and in the Washington DC area.
Andrea served as President of her college’s Young Americans for Liberty chapter. During many semesters, she worked as a research assistant for the political science and history departments at Rutgers. She spent her other college summers as a National Journalism Center Intern at the Daily Caller (2017), and as a Media Relations Intern at the Cato Institute (2018).
With a passion for history and politics and a well-established track record in research and writing, it was not surprising that Andrea would pursue a career in media. She began her Fox career in July 2019 as a production assistant on the Media Desk, was elevated to Production Assistant for Daytime Programming the following year, and rose to Associate Producer of Fox & Friends in June 2021.
We look forward to watching the continuing success of this hardworking and dedicated young conservative.
