Julie joined CBL in October 2019 as our Administrative Assistant and became our Program Director in 2021. She has a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science from Southern Illinois University. In college, Julie interned at the White House and developed a strong interest in foreign policy and politics. She received her MA in Middle Eastern Studies from Tel Aviv University in Israel. She is currently studying Arabic and speaks a little Hebrew.
Julie and her husband love to travel. Montana is her favorite state to visit, and the country of Georgia is her dream destination. She loves to read, travel, and garden. Julie loves baseball and is an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan. She lives with her husband, Jonathan, in her native Northern Virginia.
